This lecture starts with the transformation of coordinates and time in classical physics and moves on to Lorentz transformations that leave the interval invariant. It explains the hyperbolic rotation, the mathematical formulation of the Lorentz boost in matrix form, length contraction, time dilation, and velocity addition.

Each of your videos are quite good and appreciated, however, in the videos you often say something like "...as we discussed in a previous lecture..." (1:56) which introduces a major hurdle, to wit: I happened upon this lecture but didn't see the referenced previous lecture and have no way to find the previous lecture and I often MUST go over the material in that previous lecture to understand the current lecture. Without a simple way to find the lecture with the content required for the current lecture, the current lecture can become unusable. Please consider referencing specific previous lectures and/or a numbering system for the videos on your YT home page. Be assured that such a cross referencing system would be much appreciated. Thank you.
