Captain Sandy is getting very frustrated with her chief stew, Fraser.

People have different way of managing their department, fraser seems to be collaborative to his team rather than manipulative. I like fraser, he has pure heart.

Captain Sandy micromanages. That's a huge problem. This is demoralising and can be seen as petty management practice. She observes alot but nowhere near enough to get a full picture of what is occuring. That's why the stews feel affronted - she sees only the "standing chatting parts" but doesn't comprehend time nor level of work that may initiate a quick 5 minutes of rest.
Also, if she wants complete chaos and lack of respect amongst the staff for heirachy, reprimanding the Chief Stew or other leaders in front of the "lower" ranked staff is the best way to go about that.

Why didn't sandy call Fraser in instead a lead deck hand to be honest I agree with Alyssa it's like sandy always on a power trip in all her seasons if Alyssa had said it about another staff member she wouldn't have been let anyone needed to be let go it was Fraser I'm glad captain Lee is coming back sick of sandy having her favorites

Captain Sandy manages by emotions. Its not fair for staff to guess when and when not to talk to her. As much as she criticizes her staff she needs to remember they cant read her mind. I find she gives a bunch of compliments to them when moving on. She thinks this brings the staff closer together. Its not always about the staff. The way she reacts affects the staff. If she works on her reactions? I dont think Her staff will have as many issues with her

Ugh fraser annoys me.. he seems like a nice person but professionally there’s a constant power struggle. You’re not the captain and you don’t need to agree with the captain all the time. Your job is to comply and put the enjoyment and the safety of the guests above all

sandy needs a chief to stand up to her and say 'back off me and my crew.' i wish fraser wasnt as sloppy as his is, if he really had his skills down pat (like kate, francesca and even heather) he would be able to say 'sandy fuck off let me handle this' but because he is still shaky and learning he cant because its not warranted.

Captain Sandy is spot on, she has summed up Fraser perfectly. He tries to be a master manipulator, undermining his superiors amoung the interior team. Alisa fell for his antics hook, line and sinker. He's a snake.
