I watched this episode, and she was a nightmare of a human. She said several times she didn't like seafood, then wanted seafood. I was so happy when Captain Sandy backed her crew.

How hard is it to say “I don’t remember what I wrote on my preference sheet, but that looks really good, do you think I could have some too?” Instead she made a big deal about the alternate seafood meal AFTER she had said earlier she doesn’t like seafood. A simple apology and a thank you to the crew for going above and beyond to accommodate her would’ve been gracious. All of these guests were unbearable.

These women aren’t powerful, they are power hungry. Their incessant complaining and criticism makes them feel powerful; it’s their way of reinforcing to the crew their status, i.e. “You are here to serve me, fulfill my every wish & need before I ask-you are at my mercy”. The epitome of classless.

I once went on a private boat charter many years ago with family. It was no where near as high tier as Below Decks and the crew were utter gems. They looked after us so well and we had a good laugh with them and treated them with the respect they were due. I used to always be up the earliest and as i was pretty good at making coffee (with the leaf patters etc) i used to make coffee not just for my family but for the crew as well which they loved. Ive seen so many episodes of BD where the guests are nightmares. Its the old saying that money can't buy class.
