Better Call Saul - Jimmy figures out the truth about Chuck

At first Jimmy is surprised, then sad, then downright heartbroken, and then suddenly his face becomes darker, and you know he made up his mind. Brilliant acting, great scene.

I have an older sibling too and I have a great dad and I strive to never disappoint them and to hear that they're proud of me because it means the world to me so that line hit me right in the heart. There's nothing more painful than finding out that your family thinks absolutely nothing of you

I find it funny that chuck says that people don't change, when this is a prequel to a show that proves that anyone can change.

So basically, you *can* succeed, but don't you dare get near my level.

What's great about Chuck in the show is he gives us a reminder about Jesse's parents about how they're against someone of their wrongdoings but also are a factor to who they are now from how they dealt with it

There's no reason a prequel spin-off for "Breaking Bad" should be this amazing.

Howard becomes WAY more sympathetic when you watch the early seasons with this scene in mind

the irony of chucks actions is that he created the monster he was trying to prevent, Jimmy wanted to go legit but chuck pushed him into a corner

This scene was absolutly heartbreaking. My perspectives on Howard and Chuck changed completely.

This scene reveals how Chuck is ultimately a small and petty man whose relationship with his brother is contingent on his ability to feel superior to him.

Chucks voice cracking up the first time he says “you’re not a real lawyer” kinda sticks with me. It’s like he doesn’t want Jimmy to hate him.

The meaning of this scene is actually dangerous. Just think about it: Criminals with professions? Mike was the best assassin because he was a cop and knew about their tactics; Walter was the best meth cook because he was a chemist; and Jimmy, of course, was the best mafia advocate because he studied Laws. That's why Chuck was right in a certain way, even if he delivered it like a douchebag.
