Her father was very depressed one night while she was at his house (he parents weren’t divorced but separated) while he was on the phone with Heather (her mother) he said “This is how it ends for us” the next day heather contacted the police saying she hadn’t shown up to school (unusual for her since she was an honor roll student and mvp on her soccer team) the police went to Christopher’s house (her father) to find Ava dead with a gunshot wound in her head in her room (not self inflicted) and in another room Christopher was dead with self inflicted gunshot wounds. Both were obviously pronounced dead at the scene.
