Cheerleader Storms Off After She Says Player Cursed Her

A college cheerleader is furious over what she calls offensive sideline taunts from the opposing team during a March Madness basketball game. Hannah Koning, a senior on the squad from Saint Bonaventure University, stormed off the court and was followed by her coach, who was just as upset and pointed to someone behind her. Koning says a player lashed out at her, using offensive language that left her fuming. The player was identified in published reports as Saint Louis University freshman Jordan Nesbitt.

I’m a survivor of a similar attack. I was walking into a store and the person in front of me didn’t hold the door open. Wow, thank you, it feels good to get that out.

This is so tragic, I know she is going to have to go through years of therapy now. I empathize with her since my family has gone through the same thing. My Grandfather was an insult survivor and he has never been the same since the "incident'.

I too am an insult survivor. My mom used to say this to me, watching it's like reliving the trauma. Reading these comments, I know I'm not alone 😢 Hopefully she can get through this too.
