What is Product Design?

Product Design is the act of designing a product that solves a specific problem. Product Designers most commonly solve problems with things like apps and websites, but Product Design also extends to physical products.

In this video I share with you how I think about Product Design and what a Product Designer might do.

product design is about decision making which adds to the KPIs bu learning from user and keep refining the product through design while UX/UI design is designing the experience of the key set of features build by stakeholders. Graphic designers push their skills to UX/UI design, while UX/UI Designer push it to product design. Key differentiator in graphic designer and UX/UI Designer is the UX frameworks and design thinking while differentiator in Product Designer and UX/UI Designer is entrepreneurial mindset & product success.

Good overview, but this broad definition is causing a lot of confusion out in the world. There needs to be a distinction between digital product design and conventional product design.
