Trent looks looked like he didnt give AF. Im sorry but giving the ball away cheaply then slow jogging back isnt accepable.

Trent made the scapegoat?! He was literally jogging back at times, not making tackles etc. Bradley came on and showed how to defend. Blaming Konate, who has just come back from injury, is the pinnacle of denial.

Has anyone else noticed that sue literally just repeats what gets said “as part of her insight” it’s actually appalling.

Trent was a disgrace for the first goal. HE gave the ball away with a terrible pass and then did what Rashford got crucified for last year - LET Fernandes go past him without making any effort. Warnock clearly missed that part. Maybe attention to detail was one of the reasons he never made it at Liverpool.

Not a scapegoat. His attitude and application were poor, anyone watching the game could see that.

No he wasn't. When Diallo got that free header he thankfully couldn't figure out what to do with, it was because Dalot went past him unbothered. When Højlund had hid shot on Allison, it was the same thing. And their second goal was a direct result of his poor passing. Also i've seen people say he had 0 tackles in 80 mins? Not sure about that last one, but saying he's the scapegoat is just plain wrong.

No one is being made a scapegoat here, but the truth needs to be acknowledged. This is football at the highest level, where players are paid significant fees to deliver top performances. Trent was responsible for our loss in that game, and if he remains in the lineup, he will continue to be a liability in future matches. Against elite teams in the UCL, his presence will cost us games. I would be rolling in anger if Liverpool were to offer him a 300k per week contract because it will be criminal and unjustified.

No he wasn’t. He was lethargic, poor on the ball, constantly out of position, disinterested. It was the Trent of old. This year generally he has been a big improvement, yes players have bad games/off days, but he chose the wrong game at the wrong time to play so bad

That Lady keeps saying the same thing but rephrasing each words. If you don’t have an opinion don’t involve yourself in the conversation.

I’ve struggled to take these 3 serious for a long time, ever since the Man United v Arsenal game a few seasons ago when all 3 argued that “a clear error thats obviously been missed by the referee, isn’t necessarily a clear and obvious error”. And thats not an exaggeration, thats a direct quote from Stephen Warnoch to Dermott Gallagher

No there's having bad games yet you still put the effort in and then there's having bad games where you dont run your ass off in a huge game against your biggest rivals. Big difference

It wasn't that Trent had a bad game, it was that he showed zero desire and zero passion. He was jogging back, walking at times. He looked completely disinterested. Players have bad games. But at least show some desire against your biggest rivals.

Trent scapegoated himself! That pass he tried for the 1st goal, got intercepted! Then casually jogs back, not picking up anyone or even try to win the ball, smacks of somebody who doesn't give a toss for the team.

Trent has been defensively better this season. He was also considered player of the month by some however this was just unprofessional and lazy. It looked like his head was in Madrid already. It definitely got to him and probably also the backlash on social media. The way he strangely gave the ball away and the way he let Bruno dribble past him, almost looked like he deliberately tried to sabotage the game.

He wasn't a scapegoat. He was at fault. He was useless, head up his arse. His lack of defending got him caught out and his only attribute his passing was worse then his defending. He has lost the local lad tag and is coming across as lazy and arrogant

He is just obsessed of playing with Madrid in his lifetime but he is not the best at the moment

7-0 Freak result???
Warnock politely forgets the 0-3, 4-0, and the 5-0 I the last few seasons.
How much is he paid?

The frustration is his lack of desire to track back when losing the ball - unwillingness to put his body on the line on a big derby because he’s got a big pay day coming up soon

Winning 0 duels in 90 minutes in a game against Manchester united as a scouser is unforgivable -

So **** off with your rubbish about anyone making him a scapegoat - he’s making himself the scapegoat - he owes us communication to let us know his plans
