Hey Chris, I just "bought" your image. Not that I plan to use it that much, however it seemed like good opportunity for a small Thank You!

Wow! Love that Soundproofing ( sorry if I'm late to the party ) - also I really like your videos - I've been watching on and off for a year or so. Great stuff!
Thanks!

EDIT:
I love that you are helping make linux more popular! Showing people that the "Appearance" people think is unique is actually just a few steps away.

Actually Garuda Linux reminds me of Amiga, where you can control every phase of your display screen plus it is multi-tasking. and is really nice for what you want to do.

Hey Chris, been watching you for a while and attempt many of your suggestions with Linux. Took me two attempts but I got this one working and convinced a friend it was Mac. Only trouble I had was figuring out how to make the dock (Cairo) and finder (Albert) start at start up. Kept reseting on a reboot?

All in all, thanks for the videos. Has kept pushing me to try to use Linux more and more.

Great stuff as always Chris. The only thing missing is the top ba that keeps all the file, edit, etc option in the same place.
I would love it is someone found something like that, but that seriously break the GNOME rules or something.

Anyone interested in this, dos search for Twister UI. That guy made interfaces for the Raspberry Pi OS that do a faithful job of recreating SEVERAL UI's including some windows version, all along with a handy THEME switcher.

After relentless nagging, he made one that skins Linux Mint.

If you have a RPIi4, give Twister OS a look. It includes BOX86 and Wine for running 32 bit windows software on your RPi4.

Hi Chris, Thanks for the great vid really nice.. since i'm planning to migrate from OSX to Fedora Linux and perhaps a couple of weeks of " Ubuntu with Budgie Desktop" because my new "Tuxedo Pulse 15" will come with Tuxedo_os 20.04 LTS. i would love to be able to use the same shortcuts as i do on mac like superkey+space for search don't mind the build in search. what ever works best.. and terminate programs with cmd+q or close with cmd+w.. dmd+tab switch between prog.. and command line use cmd+c for copy and so on.. i don't need the looks but the muscle memory could use sum help and since i'm going to switch gradually this could help ween me off osx work flow.. Most important i would say a way to back-up al these settings so i could do a nuke-pave and just restore sum dot file ?? don't know basically i'm saying a way to backup settings and restore them without having to do all the work again if that's even possible ??

Beautiful sentence I found on some subredit
"When I feel ugly, I remember that some people think their KDE MacOS ripoffs look nice and I stop feeling ugly."

I like the way Elementary OS gives a Mac style theme but doesn't go the full hog.

Man, I need you to give us some advices about how to deal with screen tearing with xrandr based desktops and those things.
U know, all the forums I read about the topic never solved anything to me. But you are my hero, I know you will.
