The Red Book is more than a book. It was an enactment of Jung's need to transform himself by intentionally bringing his ego into conflict with the darkness within his own consciousness.

It may very well be that such self-directed self transmutation is necessary for the human soul in general as we move into the coming epoch.

MJ Dorian is probably my number one favorite podcaster of all time. time. the atmosphere he creates, the storytelling, the topics. this is gonna be a great episode as you are one of my favorite podcasters as well. There are certain intellectuals that I connect to in ways that build up a certain creative drive. Jung is one, so is Timothy Leary, Ken Wilber, and Antero Alli. I think they were inspired by Jung and then the books and interesting experiments that came out of those expansive minds. It makes me want to experiment in my own life. I’ve been obsessed with integrating archetypes from early on (it was out reaching for something comprehensive in the middle of chaos in life).

I recently bought the redbook and to be honest, I'm really struggeling with reading it.. maybe it's a bit above my level of understanding. Even tho I love reading it, it almost feels like I've done an intense workout after going through a few pages. These videos are of a lot of help. Keep it up!

At some point in the episode, you mention the turning of lead into gold, and that science has proven this can't be done. Just thought I'd put it out there that CERN did, in fact, turn lead into gold a number of years back. Very cool. It's just incredibly ineffecient haha anyways... amazing episode!

If the soul is (but not limited to) “the animating force” the thing that separates you from death, I have definitely directly contacted and interacted with it. In a DMT trip.

To me, it seems like you can’t be in the same space with the soul if there is anything but love there. For yourself and for it (it’s you but also kind of separate at the same time) and if you are judging yourself in any way or knowingly not loving others properly, the jesters (who live in the in between) will stop you before getting to the same space as the soul. And they will show you how you are out of alignment with love. Sometimes forcefully

How do I know I’ve met and interacted with my soul? I’m aware that it sounds very far out there. I question myself as well. But I believe it to be true. I also understand there could be some confirmation bias there as well. But here’s the short version of the story anyways. I met someone about a year ago whom I believe to be my twin flame. Around this time was also the first time I ever experienced synchronicities. I didn’t even know what synchronicities were. And they were much more than just seeing repeating numbers and little things. The word twin flame kept appearing everywhere and at the time I was seeing this girl whom I felt as if I recognized and have known forever. I always thought the idea of soul mates and things like that were kind of bullshit and hallmark fairy tale shit. But I had this complex sense of Deja vu with her. I could not figure out how I recognized her but if I could put a word to it, I would say it was how she moved. Something so oddly specific that cannot be faked. The only word I can think of is her “animating force” felt familiar.

What are twin flames? That is an entire universe of a rabbit hole to go down and a lot of it seems like bullshit. It is not for the skeptics, but for the curious and open. Basically it’s another person who shares the same soul as you. The “oversoul” divides itself into two in order to express itself in the 3D in a dualistic way. And there is supposedly a quantum connection between the two people, the soul is made of energy. The purpose of the twin flame journey is to align with your soul and love yourself unconditionally. The journey is painful because there is a separation between the twin flames that triggers the living fuck out of you. Like two microphones being brought too close together and making that loud pitched noise until they are separated. Aligning with your soul and learning to love yourself unconditionally after the separation is what brings the twin flame back. It’s not the goal to bring them back but it happens as a byproduct (Because quantum entanglement)

I recognized my soul in her. And that has given me a reference to find it within myself. Like a mirror. I’ve been on a journey to finding more of it and becoming more aware of it in order to work with it and allow it to guide me to where I belong. Where all of me just kind of merges with everything around me. The center of my own mandala.

The soul is inside and outside of you at the same time. It’s energy. It is not bound by space or time in the same way our consciousness sees it but it can still speak to you through intuition and synchronicity. It can see things you can’t see and it can guide you even unconsciously to a specific place at a specific time and notice a specific thing that only you could understand. It is guiding you but the more you become familiar with yourself (by looking inward) you can see and become more aware of the guidance. This has led me to the most wild synchronicities ever. Understanding Jung’s work has really helped me understand how to look within and using psychedelics allows me to look FURTHER within. And DMT is the most powerful. Mushrooms get me more connected with my body and more of a positive energy. Mushrooms are what woke me up to my hearts intuition. My hearts intuition is what led me to the biggest synchronicities. Something from a trip appeared in real life in a different way but still so specific. I knew I was in the right place at the right time. I knew I was guided there by something outside of me. Then I finally found it directly in a DMT trip. I asked it for guidance to help me get “unstuck” and it pointed to something SO FUNNY, ugh
