Thank you! Such a short, simple fix and saved me a whole lot of trouble. If anyone else watching doesn't have appropriate pliers: You can also use the other end of a hammer head as a lever to prise the catch back in.

Perfect! Worked like a charm! Everyone else on YouTube said to order a new latch. This saved time and money and WORKED! However I don’t like this expensive dishwasher for so many reasons. Hardly used before the latch didn’t work, among other things. Great advice for a quick fix-just did it with finger-thanks!
