Thin VS Thick EDC Fixed Blades: The Wenger Companion in 3v

Is having a thinner edc fixed blade really better? Let's see talk about it. The Wenger also comes with a very thin kidex that you can put a Ulticlip on. Totally forgot to show that sheath, I have not found it useful since it comes with a great concealed sheath already.

For my hand personally i prefer a full lenght handle with I'd say a minimum 1/2" thick handle as you never know in the woods when you'll have to use your knife a bit harder than normal or for extended periods but i usually carry more than one anyway, something thin bladed then one with a bit more robustness at least. But if i was only carrying one id definatly go for the thicker handle and blade just for peace of mind. 3V is an amazing steel fir that Purpose good edge retention, super tough, has a bit of corrosion resistance but not stainless though so taking care of it is a must. Steels like 4V, Cruwear, and Magnacut are also good options in the higher end price brackets where AEBL, 14C28N are my favorites in the budget area. Thanks for the great vid and keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable.

Unless its a giant chopper, a knife should never be thicker than 1/8th of an inch unless its a super thin hollow grind. In my opinion of course
