I barbarian carry. That's when I carry a knife sheathless and in my hand with a full finger grip. It may be alarming to everyone around me and I'm having difficulty writing this comment, but I do have the benefit of absolute zero draw time and the comfort of having my waist, boots and neck free of clutter.

Yeah I use to think carrying a knife on your Chest or around you’re neck was badass until someone pointed out to me that’s the easiest way to give someone access to your knife and then even better access to stabbing you in the neck because the knife is alright pointing straight at it LMAO

Hilarious comments btw but if I may, I’m going to leave a serious one,
“Scout Carry” is a bad idea. It’s for the same reason carrying a firearm there is a bad idea. If you get put on you back, either by accident or with a takedown, there’s a decent chance you’ll end up in a wheelchair.
That section is one of the more vulnerable areas of your spine and carrying any kind of hard object there should be avoided.

I know, there’s always “that guy, ” running their mouth and making everyone roll their eyes. I guess it’s me this time.

Seriously don’t carry anything unforgiving there: multi-tool, knife, firearm etc

Boot carry ftw. That's my favorite way to keep a fixed blade on me. I've never tried the scout carry but that looks like it might be really good for certain blades I own.

I think scout carry looks badass but youve gotta have a sheath designed for it. I just got a bk18 and ive been attempting scout carry and getting into cars, passing through door ways, turning while near a wall, all these things result in snagging. I actually think i snag more then just standard belt carry.
