Σύμφωνα με δημοσίευμα της ιστοσελίδας του Συριακού Παρατηρητηρίου Ανθρωπίνων Δικαιωμάτων, το οποίο βασίζεται σε μαρτυρίες από πηγές του, δηλαδή από ακτιβιστές που βρίσκονται στη βορειοδυτική Συρία, Κουρδικές δυνάμεις μαζί με κυβερνητικές, εξαπέλυσαν επίθεση με ρουκέτες, εναντίον τουρκικού φυλακίου-παρατηρητηρίου, που βρίσκεται στην Jibrin, χτυπώντας το με σφοδρότητα και δημιουργώντας πανικό στις τουρκικές δυνάμεις, που βρίσκονται στην ευρύτερη περιοχή.
Μέχρι στιγμής, αν και εικάζεται ότι υπάρχουν ανθρώπινες απώλειες, η τουρκική πλευρά δεν έχει δώσει στη δημοσιότητα κάποια συγκεκριμένη πληροφορία, προφανώς για να καλύψει το περιστατικό, καθότι θεωρείται ένα ιδιαίτερα ισχυρό πλήγμα στον τουρκικό στρατό, το οποίο μάλιστα, έχει αυξημένη σημασία, καθώς προήλθε από συνεργασία, των Κουρδικών και των Συριακών κυβερνητικών δυνάμεων, που ενώθηκαν για να αντιμετωπίσουν τον εισβολέα Τούρκο, που για άλλη μία φορά δημιουργεί γεωπολιτικά προβλήματα στην περιοχή, κάνοντας μας να μην ξεχνάμε ότι η τουρκική πολιτική, βασίζεται σε πολέμους και αναθεωρητικές τάσεις, συνόρων άλλων χωρών.
