Σύμφωνα με δημοσιεύματα σε ξένες ειδησεογραφικές ιστοσελίδες, Αμερικανικές βάσεις που βρίσκονται στη Συρία και στο Ιράκ, δέχτηκαν επιθέσεις με drones αλλά και με ρουκέτες τύπου κατιούσα.
Πιο συγκεκριμένα, η ιστοσελίδα Shafaq αναφέρει, ότι χθες βράδυ η αεράμυνα της βάσης Ain al-Assad, που βρίσκεται δυτικά της Βαγδάτης και στην οποία εδρεύουν Αμερικανικές αλλά και διεθνείς δυνάμεις, κατέρριψε αγνώστου ταυτότητας drone, το οποίο ίπταται στην περιοχή, ενώ νωρίτερα, 5 ρουκέτες κατιούσα, είχαν πέσει εντός της βάσης, χωρίς να αναφερθούν θύματα και ζημιές.
Όπως αναφέρεται στην Shafaq, το σύστημα αεράμυνας που χρησιμοποιείται είναι το C-RAM, που βλέπουμε αυτή τη στιγμή σε πλάνα αρχείου και το οποίο θεωρείται ένα από τα καλύτερα.
Τώρα σύμφωνα με άρθρο του καναλιού 7 του Ισραήλ, Αμερικανός αξιωματούχος δήλωσε ότι και οι 5 ρουκέτες έπεσαν σε ικανή απόσταση από τη βάση και όχι εντός, και ειδικότερα η κοντινότερη ήταν στα 2 χλμ μακριά.
Ενώ, όσον αφορά τη Συρία, γράφει πως σύμφωνα με το Γαλλικό πρακτορείο, χτυπήθηκε το Green Village, όπου και εκεί εδρεύουν δυνάμεις του συνασπισμού, με 8 γύρους πυρών, χωρίς και πάλι να έχουμε θύματα αλλά μόνο μικρές ζημιές.

According to reports in foreign news websites, US bases in Syria and Iraq have been attacked by drones and Katyusha rockets.
More specifically, the website Shafaq reports that last night the air defense of the Ain al-Assad base, which is located west of Baghdad and where US and international forces are based, shot down an unidentified drone, which was flying in the area, while earlier, 5 rockets felt, had fallen into the base, with no casualties or damage reported.
According to Shafaq, the air defense system used is C-RAM, which we currently see in file footage and which is considered one of the best.
Now, according to an Israeli Channel 7 article, a US official said all five rockets landed at a distance from the base and not inside, and specifically the nearest one was 2 km away.
As for Syria, it writes that according to AFP, the Green Village where coalition forces are also based, was hit with 8 rounds of fire, without any casualties but only minor damage.
