Is there only one "true religion"? Who has created the world? What is mantra meditation? Is there an eternal spiritual soul? Do I have to be Indian to practice Hinduism? Is there heaven & hell?

Growing up I was taught Christianity, and also taught that Christianity was the “only way” . … this experience made my relationship with God rocky and pushed me out of church by the age of 13. I’ve always had a true since of care and feeling towards our earth, animals, and humans and truly believed in a higher power even without claiming a religion and so to find Hinduism and seeing that everything Hinduism teaches be everything I’ve naturally already believed in my entire life, gives me so much peace in my heart and clarification to finally know that I am actually on the right path for ME.
