I'm not the most tech savvy guy so I will try to explain best I can. I bought a Inspiron 17 inch model 7791
It has a i7
526 GB SSD with 32 gb optane
16 gb ram
It has 2 hard drive slots to my understanding.
I would like to add 500 gb more memory so I have 1T.
If I do this can the new additional 500gb SSD have 32 gb of optane memory as well giving me 64 gb optane? Is the optane part of the hard drive itself or is in integrated into the laptop somehow?

Wait did you just remove that one screw from the motherboard and place it on the ssd? What will be the effect of that?

The Microsoft site says the bios has to support intel optane, do you need to change any setting there?
