24 Hours in Copenhagen: Live Like a Local
Показать описание
In this vlog, you can join me as I spend 24 hours living like a local in Copenhagen or as they are called Copenhageners! Your guide to a day in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Hotel: Coco Hotel
Located in Vesterbro just 15 mins walk from Copenhagen Central Station
Voted Best Hotel in Copenhagen by Travel & Leisure Magazine 2022
Feels like you are staying in your own apartment in a cool neighbourhood.
This is also close to trendy meat packing districts full of cafes, bars and restaurants.
Visited:
Glyptoteket Museum - if you are a fan of architecture and antiquities - this is for you. It is simply stunning and be sure to check out the rooftop!
SMK National Gallery of Denmark - you can see some of the best Nordic art and they also have a great cafe called Kafeteria - worth a stop!
Ate at:
Restaurant Lola in the Christianhavn - they do fantastic local Danish specialty called Smørrbrod which is basically open faced sandwiches but with a twist! And the restaurant is an old wind mill!
Vækst which serves new nordic cuisine, sustainable and absolutely delicious plus the restaurant is just beautiful as you feel like you are in a greenhouse.
Activity: Bikes are available to rent from almost any hotel and also via mobile apps so this is the best way to discover the city at your own pace. There's always a spot to park and when the weather is dry and even sunny, it's just perfect.
Hot Tub Copenhagen: open until April and will reopen in October - you can enjoy sitting in a hot tub overlooking the harbour. Just wonderful! and you can also visit one of the nicest little saunas I've ever sat in. This spot is located in an area called Refshaleon near the popular street food markets of Reffen.
