As a recovered addict myself, watching this moved me to tears, and I do not move to tears easily. Cocaine has destroyed so many good lives, and if it has proven anything, it's much bigger than you are. It was bigger than Whitney, it's bigger than anyone. It will reprogram your mind into thinking *nothing* else in the world matters. Thank the lord, she's left a legacy of some of the most perfectly executed, soulful vocals ever recorded. R.I.P. Whitney ❤

She did drugs WE GET IT, THE WORLD GET IT. But why don't we remember that she's one of the best vocalist of all times?? why don't we remember that she made history in music?? She was beautiful, talented and addicted to drugs, that's it. I wanna see people talking bout her music, not about her life... who are we? god?

I went to my first Whitney concert in Nashville in 1987. She was riding the first wave of her singing career. Her 1st album was heading straight to the top. I still say that this was the best concert I have ever attended in my 59 years. I saw her in concert at least 20 times through her incredible career. I always wanted to repeat that first experience but that never happened. However, I was never disappointed in her even if she struggled to sing on key, hit the high notes and finish her concert. I realized she had become involved in drugs and was a tortured soul but I never lost my love for Whitney. To this day I will never say anything negative about my idol. I miss her so bad. RIP WHITNEY....I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU MY ANGEL!

Since 1985, I haven’t heard a singer that can sing like her. Still the best singer ever.

If people seem Disappointed, think how disappointed she felt about herself.

This was Whitney at her worst and she still sounds way better than I ever could. Her positive impact on music will never be forgotten!

In terms of singing, I can't even come close to Whitney at her worst. I have only love and respect for her. Her soulful voice is powerful and legendary - and it will always be.❤️

It's like she's trying desperately to find the voice she once used to have but can't

It’s crazy how drugs can destroy a mother and a daughter like this 🥺
It’s absolutely heartbreaking

The fact that the backing singer had to do the high notes for her.. Poor Whitney, she should have never touched the drugs. She would still be singing gloriously today... 😢❤

Irrespective of what Whitney Houston went through in the last stages, she ranks in my humble opinion one of the greatest voices on Earth. A truly wonderful talent that we have all been previledged to witness. Rest in Peace Whitney Houston and thank you for the music.

She was a broken soul. The media loved kicking her down at her lowest and praised her when she died. R.I.P. Whitney Houston.

As a recovering addict myself I couldn't finish watching this. I was hesitant to even click on it but it's always good to remind myself of how far I've come. I was addicted when I had my son. Drugs robbed both of us but mostly him of a mother. Even after many years of creating better memories. The damage wasn't repairable and my son struggled with alcohol and drugs.. Drugs took my son from me on Christmas 2022 my baby..He was 25 years old. This is a pain like no other. My only comfort is that he is no longer a danger to himself or another person.

I was Whitney Houston's room service waiter in Atlantic City NJ. She was always very kind. It broke my heart to see the world love her at one moment and then bash her and put her down when she needed their love the most. She took all that unkindness to her death... I Will always Love You Whitney Houston so glad to meet you and so sorry to see you go so soon... 🙏 😊❤

Addiction doesn't care if you're Joe Blow from down the street, or the best vocalist of all time. Thankfully we have decades of her perfection that will live on forever.
