As a former employee of Carvana I can safely say that the folks who work the lots dog the cars. They have the mindset of " it's not my car so idc". Plus they still have a lot of shady business practices.

I put a car in to see their cash offer. It was 6000 dollars worse than how much I got from a trade quote from multiple dealers. Would never do business with them!

Last year I was looking at a basic 2017 Toyota Corolla with about 40, 000 miles. Carvana wanted almost $25, 000. I went to a dealer and bought a brand new 2022 Corolla for $22, 000.

Scotty, you said in an earlier video the Carvana would not permit the customer’s mechanic to evaluate the car.
If that policy is still in effect, I thought that would be your #1 reason.

I bought a 2009 Honda Accord LX back in 2014 from a used car dealership. It has 68070 miles on it (it was a leased vehicle that had just been returned) for 12500! I went on Carvana and looked up that same car year etc... and a 2009 with 161000 miles was 19800!!! Outragious
