Selling covered calls seems to be a good strategy to limit your risk while still applying some leverage. Thoughts on Margin??

What about cap gains tax? Some of my positions have a large cap appreciation from long term holding (10+ years), so I hesitate to sell covered calls against them. I suppose I could always buy to close if I watch it closely? Looking forward to a session with you on Thursday.

i dont' understand about expiration date. ex. the stock price higher than strike price at that day only or before that day any time? if at that day, then is opening time or closing time on that day or during that day any time?
