Selling puts to buy stocks on the cheap, and getting out of them at a significantly higher price by selling covered calls, is a great way to get a bit of extra cash. I use the strategy myself frequently.

@The Mindful Investor: When would you sell your LEAPs? I'm having a hard time coming up a good exit strategy because I've some PLTR leaps but the more I wait, lesser the options value will be.

which account I can use to do option trading? is it TFSA/RRSP? can you plz do a series form A to Z about which account to use for option trading + how to do the taxes when its comes to tax year filing. As it always puzzle my mind as I work full time and invest only thro TFSA & RRSP and stay away from options as I dont know how to file for their taxes and getting into any trouble with CRA thanks.
