The Red Baron was chasing a Canadian pilot not a Brit (Flew for the RAF but none the less still Canadian) and who shot him down is still debated by some... The RAF officially credited Canadian pilot Roy Brown with shooting him down but many modern historians believe he was actually shot down by an Australian named Cedric Popkin (from ground fire as you mentioned in the video).

False. He did not record his fame as the Red Baron by flying a Fokker triplane. He recorded most of his kills in an albatross D. III I believe which was also painted red. It wasn't until towards the end of his career he flew the Fokker
