Tips for newbie on gesture: think the gesture like a metal bar for making a figure and make it balance so it's give a real Newton's gravity laws

If your traditional you could try using a light colour (like beige or yellow) for the gesture sketch, then a middle one for the simplified shapes😮 (red/blue/green/pink etc etc) and for the final one use a dark colour (like dark purple/ navy blue) ^^
I like to use this method when doing my drawings since I can do as many layers as I like- you don’t have to do exactly 3, you can do 1 or 2 or 4 or 5 and so on 🤓🤓 And if you choose a nice selection of colours it looks so prettyyy
(Remember to start with lightest colour and then move to the middle ones, then the darkest ones)

Your poses still lack motion you need to practice more gesture drawing, use rhythms to make your poses feel connected remember not to ignore the bone structure underneath the figure
