It is so nice to have it in the pantry. We don't use a lot of it, but every now and then pull it out to stuff some pablano peppers. MMM MMMM Good. Thank you for sharing.

I've canned alot of different meat, but never breakfast sausage. How would you use this? I'm assuming not for breakfast unless it was cooked with your eggs or in a breakfast casserole?

Oh nothing like home grown sausage!!! Youbknow exactly where you get it from too and what goes into it again I'm still scared of the pressure canner lol I'd proably ruin it somehow lol

I remember when my brother in law had some hogs he butchered and gave my parents some of the meat. I think Momma just froze the meat. My Mom did can but it was vegetables and fruit she made into jam or preserves.
