For the collision question, does it matter which direction is positive or negative. Because if I assume that the direction left to right is positive, then my impulse would be -15 n/s instead of 15 n/s. Does the sign matter in impulse?

20:34 in Q5 for the intial velocity of truck Q why isnt the arrow pointing in the opposite direction is it because it was at rest so it couldnt have moved to collide with P?

Hello sir, like all the comments and as always, thank you very much for your videos.
Regarding question 6, when drawing the diagram and considering one direction as the positive(right direction in my drawing), in part B i get m(v-u) : m(-2u - 4u), which I get -6um, I understand your explanation, however in questions when i get a negative can i state the answer in positive + that it moves in the opposite initial direction as to explain the negative values, in questions regarding the u, v, I.
