The Mysterious New Enemy (Mario + Rabbids Trailer Analysis & Theory)

One of the highlights of Ubisoft's E3 2021 presentation was the trailer to Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope. As a sequel to Kingdom Battle, Mario and Co are shown jumping right into the action with a huge new enemy. Could it be that this enemy is already known to us?

Rosalina was already pretty depressed because of her “past”. Couple that with the fact that she spends thousands of years alone in space, it would make sense that she would become an eldritch horror

It’s that E3 magic again! I’m incredibly excited to see Mario+Rabbids mixed with Galaxy 1 and 2.

I was seeing some reaction of the game and some guy said as a joke "That's Rosalina"
And i was like:
"Omg it has sense...
Did i just got spoiled the plot twist of the game?"

I also had that same theory that Cursa maybe Rosalina. Perhaps Rosalina under the influence of Cursa, kind of a twist.
The reason I think that is Rosalina under that purple robe is how that star is placed at the very spot where Rosalina’s star jewel is on her dress. The robe itself has a slight resemblance to Rosalina’s dress, mainly the ends. And it may imply that Cursa is a female, the name sounds feminine, as the hands that appear look more slimmer that fits for a female hand in the Mario universe.

Maybe Rosalina isn’t necessarily corrupted, but perhaps she knows something that the heroes don’t. Like maybe that the combination of Rabbids and Lumas is a bad thing, or something like that.

I'm still wishing for galaxy 3 but in the mean time this game looks INCREDIBLE!!! Cursa looks so interesting and like a smash villian. I'm not expecting him to have an origin. He'll probably be like galeem in smash.

Ok, so what i’m going to say is just a design choice, but the face of the main villain isn’t the same as the dark stone from mario and luigi dream team? Not only that, but under the “face” is a dark star, just like the dark star from bowser’s inside story
