Code Geass #Shorts Top Ten SADDEST DEATHS

There are so many interesting topics in Code Geass that I may never cover in my long essay-style videos. Instead, I can at least discuss them in Shorts like this video. Let me know if you guys like this idea and if you do what other topics would you like me to discuss using this format.

Rolo lelouch and euphemia were the sadist to me- rolo actually had me about to cry-

The last 4 could all easily switch places.

Euphemia was completely and utterly tragic. She had such a noble dream, and almost turned the show into something happy. But fate intervened.

Lelouch was the main character, my favorite character, and he made the biggest sacrifice after going through all that he'll.

Shirley was a very kind character, and a love interest. Her death and the events leading to it hit hard.

TBH, Rolo hit me the hardest. Not because I was particularly attached to him, but because he was misguided and hurt in the head. I also felt sad for him when Shirley died, cause it wasn't entirely his fault. He was the only character who managed to make me disagree with Lelouch. He was his biggest mistake. I just wish Lelouch tried harder with Rolo. To actually care and change him for the better. The hardest part for me was how Lelouch manipulated him into his death. Everything about it hurt.

Even tho i cried the most for Rolo and Shirley, i do agree that Euphy's was the most tragic.

Its sad that Euphy died cause Lelouch didn't mean't to use his Geass to her he just giving her Examples that controlls her forcing Lelouch to kill her

Rolo’s final moments make me cry whenever I watch it 😭 this show is too damn good. The music too

Lelouch felt the saddest. Through out the whole second season, I thought, when is he gonna die? Because I knew that he was going to, we’ll u didn’t know, but i had a feeling and it was pretty obvious, and i also had a feeling he would die by his choice. I mean, personally I wouldn’t be able to deal with killing so many and starting so many wars and just going though so much seeing everyone die. Bc you could see how lelouch was suffering. Even without the zero mask on, he was still hiding behind a mask. In the end (before he actually died) lelouch wasn’t alive; it was just his body with zero’s mind. And even though i had a feeling it was coming lelouch’s death had me crying. It was just, suzaku killing him, him asking to be killed, nunnally crying and his last few words. And the music and animation and everyone else happy he’s dead. The whole second like season i hated what he was doing but i still loved his character because he was some how just such a loveable character. And you could see how he hated himself, he was depressed but he tried to hide it so no one saw the what he was actually feeling, he tried self refrain and he was shaking talking to nunnally and when he was alone or just with cc you could see he was struggling. It was sad actually, and then he died…with a smile.
I feel like someone said to die with a smile, but i can’t exactly remember who

Euphy and Rolo hit so hard and definitely Shirley’s. All three definitely top 3-5 however Lelouch’s death is personally number 1. He sacrificed his own humanity and life just for the world to know peace. He wanted to redeem all of his sins even if their unforgivable ones and especially ones that don’t deserve forgiveness.

10. *Dorothea Ernst* (She was killed without remorse, and was literally just created to die. I would've liked an actual expansion on her.)
9. *Andreas Darlton* (While it's easy to cheer for his death, he certainly didn't deserve to die after realizing he just stabbed his princess in the back, even if Cornelia was a bitch.)
8. *Kosetsu Urabe* (He sacrificed himself so Zero could make his big return. His last speech hits hard.)
7. *Monica Krushevsky* (A genuinely good person in the Knights of the Round, ruthlessly executed by Suzaku.)
6. *Jeanne Rowe* (Her dying to stop Shin's rampage and end his suffering was surprisingly touching.)
5. *Shin Hyūga Shiang* (You wouldn't expect to feel sorry for the man who was trying to take his rage out on the world, especially after Jeanne gave her own life to end his.)
4. *Rolo Haliburton/Lamperouge* (While he had his problems, no one can deny that his love for his brother was indeed genuine, and he died saving him.)
3. *Shirley Fenette* (Her death was unexpected, perfectly dropped, and incredibly heartbreaking, especially with her dying declaration of love towards her Lulu.)
2. *Euphemia li Britannia* (She never deserved to be hit with a sudden Runaway Geass, kill throngs of innocent Japanese, then be gunned down, and have the man she loves lie to her about how the Special Administrative Zone worked.)
1. *Lelouch vi Britannia* (The one I think everyone cried at. I know I did. He sacrificed everything to bring world peace, and Nunnally bursting into tears after realizing what he'd done... it really added to the poignancy of the series' final and most tearjerking death.)

(Honorable Mentions: Naomi Inoue [Sugiyama's reaction is quite sad], Ryoga Senba, Shogo Asahina, Diethard Ried [somewhat; he kinda deserved it, yet I did feel awful for him], David Darlton [only him, since he actually called out to his dad], Marika Soresi [Anime Only], Liliana Vergamon, the other two Valkyries, and Bismarck Waldstein.)

Man shirleys death was extra painful it was when she accepted lelouch is zero and then it fell apart.

You hate this dude for killing shirley but the dude gave his life to lelouch.

Who else cried during Euphemia’s death cause that shit actually hurt man. She was literally like the nicest person ever and even in the very end, she didn’t even have a racist bone in her body. And was so close to effectively ending the war and did it her way pretty much her death was made the show real that legit characters can die now and that nobody is safe is.

I still cry even now when it comes to Euphy. It breaks my heart how her end came about over a mistake and how suzaku lies to her in the end and how everyone hated her without knowing😢
