Hello Sarah and Luke, Besides the practical tips for buying a property in Portugal, everyone needs to remember that they will be living in a foreign country. Everyone else will be speaking Portuguese live there it's incumbent that you learn it as well. From what I've heard, the Portuguese government has set up Portuguese classes in many of the small villages and towns. While living there people have to make the transition to becoming Portuguese nationals, right? Então, boa sorte, mesmo.
