👉Learn how to factor quadratics. A quadratic is an algebraic expression having two as the highest power of its variable(s). To factor an algebraic expression means to break it up into expressions that can be multiplied together to get the original expression.

To factor a quadratic with three terms and the coefficient of the squared variable is 1, all we need to do is to find two numbers which when multilied together gives the constant term (the term with no variable) and when the two numbers are added gives the coefficient of the term whose variable has no power.

After getting the two numbers, we then write the variable with the two number in separate parenthesis.
