All large parking areas should include solar canopies and electric vehicle chargers. That would provide free energy from the sun for electric vehicles, provide cooler places to park, and reduce the use of fossil fuels. School parking lots, big box stores, strip malls, apartment and condo complexes should consider adding solar canopies to their parking areas.
