Hello, Amy. I'm from Costa Rica and surprised to see my little country in the international news. The motion to delay same sex marriage was pushed to the last place of the legislative agenda because it needed the support of 38 legislators and only got 25 (one of the original proponents backed away). Most people in my country either support same sex marriage or consider it a private business that doesn't affect the rest of us in any way. So it will become law on the 26.
