I have a gravel wheel set for my Domane SL6 can accommodate up to 38mm tires. I then run 30mm Pirellis on the road but I can dabble in some gravel if I need to with those, it's just a little squirrelly

Riding on british roads use a gravel bike with35mm tyres, eat potholes and better in the wet.

The standard on road bikes is more like 25mm if at all. Most bikes are older than 2 years.

With the amount of pot holes in regular roads, gravel bikes would be better

So 38mm isn't a thing all of a sudden?? I know most normal people start at 40mm but dam man 38 does exist as most tires starting width for gravel. 38 makes sense for mostly road if racing I would guess. At least for me and some people

I wish there was 18mm tyres that weigh less than 100g.
