Had 2 15' Sunfire subwoofers and a 1000 watt amp with an extra car battery running car battery wire throw the subs and was running it for as a power cord and a ground and for a remote wire as a speaker wire. In a 1991 Buick regal limited.

When I wired my first system when was 15 years old, someone had given me a box with 2 8" subs and 2 dummy subs so.it looked like you had 4. I only had one spool of wire, that was yellow. I tried to wire the entire system with one color wire, probably 14 gauge if that. Was proud when I thought I was done. Turned the key on, nothing worked, then worked started melting into the carpet and started the car on fire. I didnt have any online fuses to anything. Got the small fire put out, and pulled all of the wiring out of the car and threw it away. Would have been in 1993-1994. No internet to look anything up. Great videos as always EXO. Your one of the reasons I jumped back into the audio scene after being gone since 1999. Thanks for the inspiration and keep posting any videos, your a posi6dude and people need someone like that to keep.others interested in the hobby.

When i was first getting into car audio at a very young age i took a home speaker box and put car audio subwoofers in it. then i wired up my amplifier using wires from junkyard cars that had splices in them. I wasnt even old enough to drive so i would sit in my vehicle with the battery charger on so i could listen to music. Surprisingly enough it was still plenty loud enough to get the neighbors to complain. My overall system was 2 sony 6x9s i got from a junkyard. 2 realistic speakers that were given to me. A interfire amp that was given to me. 2 phoenix gold 12 inch subs i bought for 40 dollars and a free radio. Luckily, over time i have learned to do things the clean and safe way now. Thanks for the content exo, your enthusiasm is contagious.

EXO you do what ever makes you happy. RC, bass, home improvement...If people don’t want to watch they can always go to next video, granted I’m sure some of the comments can get a little rough. But most of those people don’t even have content to watch. I just wish more people would spread the love or keep quiet.

I used my shoe boxes taped up and put my subwoofers in them for a enclosure when I first installed the system back in the day

My first car audio install was in my bedroom. Full install without the car. I used a battery charger to keep my battery up. I learned a whole lot reading and watching videos like yours on youtube. Thanks.

My dad is an electrician and I used to take his cooker wire to use as speaker cables and used to strip all the insulation off it, twist 4 strands together and use it as power cables haha. Keep producing these fantastic videos dude. 👍👍👍

GunzNButter86 here and I must say that I like the RC videos as much as the bass videos cause I'm into both of those hobbies!!! And as for the people who said they need to get out and play with a RC car to see how much fun they So keep it up EXO and keep making your awesome

My very first system was a subwoofer from a 2.1 Logitech computer speaker system that I installed my 95 Wrangler with an inverter. Good times.

Thankfully, channels like Exo and Steve Meade have been teaching me the right way to do things since way before I even thought about doing an install (I was about 11) so every install I've done i havent done anything sketchy, but it was funny seeing my dads reaction to an inline fuse, he called it "Fancy show crap" and said hes never used one and it's been fine "That's what the fuses in the amp are for" he says

I had an old Sansui 10 that the surround rotted away. I had no money and thought how I could fix it. I took the elastic waistband from my Fruit of the Looms underwear cut it pieces and stapled it around the cone. Early 90's didn't have gorilla glue so I took McDonald's plastic spoons and melted the elastic waistbands to the basket. I tried the woofer out and it slammed. All my friends and family loved it. Sigh, I miss that woofer these days. It's a bit different from the RE's I have now.

Ran out of MDF once so I cut up an old dining room table to finish the box I was building.
