How to blast beat

How to do several types of blast beats on the drums. I also talk about hand speed and how to get them faster.
I play in several bands including a death metal band and use the heel toe technique on my bass drum. I have a set of Axis pedals in this video and am using Sabian Cymbals.

U ever tried blasting with push pull technique?

"Something slow like 170 or 180". lol. 170-180 bpm is a pretty fast tempo to me. I think the fastest song I've ever had to play was 192. That does sound like a good exercise doing a straight pattern for a really long time at a tempo like that though. The basic stuff is usually the most helpful (learned that when I did drumline for sure). Thanks for the videos!

how old were you when you hit blasts solid at 180 190, that's my goal, I just turned 27 gets me discouraged I feel behind. going through drum depression, the struggle is real.
