Great explanations. I only mig steel at the moment with my Everlast welder but I understand it can also stick and tig weld. I will have to give those a try.

Personally I really like mig welding with my everlast welder even though it can tig as well. Tig welding is too slow for me and stick welding is too messy.

For the stick welding off of a generator. What kind of power do you need from the generator to run the welder. Can you recommend generator welder combinations that you have had good experience with. Specifically interested in getting equipment to build something like the mueller metal buildings. Not sure about the thickness but I think the red iron is 10 inch wide flange.

Up to point video, but would be perfect if included flux coated arc in comparasion, and at the end, didnt get why you said to upgrade mig into tig or stick, did you mean the method or just the durability of inverter? thanks and thumbs up

Hey buddy thanks for the knowledge. Question: what is the best way to get certified during this pandemic if almost everything about welding is hands on and sometimes within 6ft of the instructor?

Need some recommendations. Just getting into welding. I want to be able to do DIY projects (Metal table legs, shelves, etc) but also be able to help my dad on the farm to repair metal fencing, build/repair bale rings, etc. What type/model/brand of welder would be best for that to start out? I'd like to be able to keep in the back of my truck to go out to remote places if possible. Totally green here.
