In the meantime, join us for a tour of Manoa Valley; a Honolulu bedroom community steeped in Hawaiian History and cultural significance. Manoa is quietly tucked above the Hawaii's capital city, offering premier convenience of living in "Town" whilst still maintaining that tropical island feel via the lush mountainous backdrop and frequent Hawaii rainbows poking through occasional drizzles.

The neighborhood is anchored by the University of Hawaii at Manoa, as well as Mid Pacific Institute and Punahou School; two of the best private schools in Oahu. This feature alone makes Manoa a top choice for locals and anyone moving to Hawaii with educational opportunities at the top of their priority list.

If you're passing through the neighborhood, put the Manoa Falls Hike on your itinerary and after coming off the trail, head over to Manoa Market Place for quick bit at Feast Manoa or Off The Wall; our favorite Manoa poke spot!

Manoa homes for sale average around $1.8M and range from vintage, Historical homes to modern, contemporary designs in more recent builds.

Upper Manoa was my home in the 70s. This place is still special no matter how much it changed.

I love Manoa. You nailed it. I taught at UH for a few years, after I graduated from there; loved my time up there. Housing is super expensive and only getting more expensive. Basically, you have to be a multimillionaire now to have a home on Oahu. I moved to Kona, got a 12 year old home on a half acre two blocks up off the beach. I still have a condo in Waikiki where I lived for 2 decades, but condo life sucks; it’s all perpetual politics and fee increases. Makes me sad to see Oahu, it’s just too crowded and too expensive, now.

This is so good. We live in Manoa for about 40 years and I'll share this with an exchange student that is about to be our housemate.
