Just saying from my personal brutal cycles of rollercaoster rides with protatitis. If it does not get resolved with antibiotics it may be from or male hormone, either lack of it or too much DHT around the prostate inflamming it, or its too much estrodiol or estrogen, either or, which is a dangerous form of aromatase of male testosterone into DHT then into estrodiol, which causes severe inflammation and prostate cancer if not managed. Prostatitis can also occur from the bacteria from the colon when the stool is not evacuated properly and it rests on the proximity of the prostate. The bacteria leaches through the colon wall into the prostate.

In my case it was the lack of testosterone. I did only one year of DHEA suppliment, 3 months on, 3 months off. And it got rid of my frequent cycles of prostatitis. I had to discover it on my own initiative by reading alot about prostatitis. I wish I could go back in time and resolve it sooner than years after.

The only problem with this treatment is that only 5% of Prostatitis case are bacterial.

Also testosterone is known potently effective antibiotic and anti inflammatory which is one reason the prostate is inflammed. Hence the itis = inflammation at the end of prostate. And for prolonged prostatitis testosterone may be the only solution to save mens health from ereticle dysfuntion from prolonged unresovled prostatitis down the road.
