I just picked up my car from tints last night (after waiting 5 hours POST appointment) and was super concerned maybe they rushed it, as I was seeing a million tiny tiny bubbles inside the tint. Really glad to know they’re probably just water bubbles.

Also he told me I could roll down my windows next morning! Glad I watched this first

Can I ask a question? I had 25% ceramic installed 5 days ago. As time has passed small white bubble are appearing. Is it bad if they are white? They are probably a tad smaller than a golf ball dimple. There are a few on each window and quite a few on the back windshield, maybe 20 or so. Do you think these will go away over time or does the fact that they are white tell you it’s contamination? Appreciate this video and I can see others do too!! Thank you.

I saw the water bubbles on my windows but was told to gibe it 3 - 5 days. Its the dust specks that had me wondering and in some windows you can see a white spots from the outside. I am not happy about this. but you say thats normal. I am now going to check every car i see and inspect it.

About a month ago, I had my car done at XL headquarters here in Las Vegas now I noticed 3 spots in my window that has ripples one being right at eyesight in my face while I’m driving it is distracting the other problem that I believe I have is hard as I clean my window inside and outside. It looks like there is some microfiber residue that is stuck in between the glass and the tint is that normal? Oh pass for the ripples they told me it is from the glass itself and the tint just amplify the ripple.

Very helpful video sir! I just got 20% ceramic done on my front windshield two weeks ago & i see double brake light reflections at night. Almost feels like I’m driving drunk. Is this normal or bad tint or install?

This was a great video. I have a car that cane with tint thats been there a decade it mustve been a hell of a job cause there was never any peeling or pin holes. So when i got my other car tinted i was worried since there were pin holes. I am going to get it checked in cause theres def more than 2% and there some bubbles that look like they got worse. For high end tint shops can they guarantee no pin holes?

I've been tinting windows right about for a year and a half sometimes I get these bubbles after 3 or 4 days but when I push them they disappear but they reappear and I squeegee them hard and I'm still getting this effect what could it be too much slip solution in the spray bottle

It's wild that the industry says that up to 2% of dust specks covering the tint is acceptable... that's like getting a steak, and being told by the chef that up to 2% of mold is acceptable.

I mean it is what it is, and I know most tint jobs won't have anywhere close to 2%. But I find it kind of crazy

Just had my car tinted 4 days ago. I do have some of those golf ball dimples on my passenger window. How long should I wait to see if they go away before concating the shop? The weather has been sunny and nice.

I have some dust specs on my front windshield that are decent sized. Not tiny like the one you showed in the video so it must be a larger piece of dust. There is a cluster of them all together in an area that’s roughly 1”x5”. Should I take this back or does this sound acceptable?

Like your videos quick question how about if the tint shows a lot of the glue around the edge is that fixable?
