Here are some of the biggest books on my TBR. These are the 15 books that are 900 to 999 pages long. Are there any you think I should read sooner rather than later?

I watch your videos no matter what! But I'd love to see what you have on your shelves! :)

I love seeing huge books! I read Shantaram and it as you say a fictionalized account of the author's life in India. It is an interesting and seems like a honest portrayal of India. At least my friend who lived there for a while said it was honest.

I always love seeing what books you have so any video from you is good. I was wondering which of Neil Stephenson’s books do you like the best? I began one of his books, but it was a library book and it had to be returned before I was finished reading it. So I thought if I tried him again I might buy the book so I can read it at my usual pokey speed 🙃.

I love reading big books. Next year I’m planning to read most of my big books. The Eighth Life, A Promised Land, Warmth of the Other Suns to name a few🤗🤗🤗🤗

Stalingrad is first and then Life and Fate. Stalingrad wasn't released in English until pretty recently. Learned all that from Steve Donoghue who loves Life and Fate. Those two are high up on my TBR for the new year. I would recommend the Edith Grossman translation for Don Quixote, we used that translation in my graduate class on Quixote, and it is very readable.

It does seem like long books are mainly fantasy, classics or biographies. I have Shantaram and Pillars of the Earth and all the Dickens on ebook which saves my wrists! One of my biggest is A Suitable Boy by Vikram Seth which is almost 1500 pages!! Yes to more big book videos please Amy!

This was so much fun to watch! Definitely intersted in seeing books that are shorter-longer and longer-longer! And some of the fantasy ones I'd not heard of, which is cool to see. So cool that you have two options for Don Quixote! I wonder which one you will pick :) Happy Reading!

The Truman book is great. McCullough is a wonderful story teller. The Bookish Bryants either did a read along or they are going to do a read along on Don Quixote (the red cover translation) so you might contact them. Thanks for sharing your mega TBR list! Those are some big books. Have fun!

This was fun. My son and I recently did this as well. I think we may have forgotten Truman. Just this morning I was telling my son about your project of reading about all of the presidents and so I was thrilled to see you mention it so I could show him. We might do the same thing. 👍

This was fun. It's making me curious about the longest books on my shelves. Hmmm.

I read that Truman bio a while back and really enjoyed it. I love Don Quixote! I hope you do too, when you get to it.

Anathem is in my TBR too. Let me know if "The Redemption of Althalus" is worth the time. I have the ebook "The Complete Novels of Fanny Burney" to read too. As long books go, now I'm reading "The Way of Kings (The Stormlight Archive #1)" by Brandon Sanderson.
