Damn, this whole situation just sucks overall. A man died from the helicopter trying to rescue and on top of that, now the rescue needs saving. I feel bad for them all…

As a former aviator I can tell you that the guy on the ground was in the wrong place. If there are high winds it can easily push the helicopter out of position and force it to the ground.

I think why it tilted was cause it landed on the broken one, causing it to tilt uncontrollably (it’s my opinion, not really what I know of)

I learned the hard way that if you come across an accident, be EXTREMELY careful because there may be an external cause or reason for that accident that you are not aware of but that could be a massive issue for your survival.

The blades also tend to bend toward the ground. That's why you often see people ducking down when approaching a helicopter when the blades are moving.
