You can never have too many hooks. Ever! I love my Furls! If you misplace one size always have a replacement available!

When I moved house recently, I hired packers to put everything in boxes. When they got to the crochet hooks and knitting needles, one of the workers said that I sure had a lot of ‘needle things’.
I said that you can never have enough ‘needle things’.
I can’t tell you what he said when he found my yarn stash!

Those wooden hooks are so pretty. I have some that are colorful like that with long detachable cords for Tunisian crochet. I’m an in-line hook girl, so my favorites are Susan Bates with padding and I love Prym hooks. I have one Furls. I just counted 100 hooks and there are some with wips in bags. I think I might have a problem!😳
I found the best hook bag in a thrift store. It’s a travel makeup bag with three zipper sections. Two sections are for hooks and the third is for measuring tapes, counters, place markers, etc. It’s a trifold and ties. I love it.
You were so lucky to have that time with your grandmother.
I am laughing at the odd number superstition. Crystal at Bag O’Day Crochet is the same way!

My grandmother taught me how to crochet when I was 8 years old. I am coming up on my 75th birthday. I started with Boye hooks. I stopped crocheting for a few years so when I went back to crocheting I bought a set of Clover. I like using the tapered hooks. Unfortunately, I don’t have any of my grandmother’s hooks but every time I pick up a hook to make something I think of her.

You can’t ever have too many hooks! Don’t get rid of any. They are yours to have, to look at, and to remember. We all need that.

I have about 45 hooks and needles. The needles are about a hundred years old. The hooks has been gifts and replacement hooks along with my first sets from Amazon. I can't wait to start my collection of furls. It always great to crochet at the beach. Younger girls always want to learn so I give them a hook and some yarn🥰 It really makes me happy to share my crochet skills. My first pattern was a granny square blanket for a king size bed.🌴

I love this video. 🥰 I absolutely love seeing other crochet hook collections! There are many beautiful hooks out there. Some people are very particular about the type of hook they use (whether it be brand, inline vs tapered, ergonomic or not). I've been a sort of hook "cameleon", because I make any and every hook work for me! I don't prefer the bulk of an ergonomic hook, but I will use one, especially if gifted to me. I just love beautiful hooks! I can't bring myself to purchase a Furls hook, though. Too expensive. I have hooks that my mother gave me when I was 8, hooks past on to me from my 95 year old grandmother (she is still alive, but unable to crochet any longer), and the many hooks I've purchased throughout the years. You inspired me to pull out my hooks and count them: 65! I haven't gone through all of my WIP bags, though, to see if there are some hidden, and I have another decorative set I'm about to order. 😂 I agree with the odd-number thing. It bugs me!

Oh my, I hadn't ever counted my hooks until now and I currently own 85 hooks, counting the 2 sets of Tunisian crochet hooks. Apparently that's not too many, because I have a set coming I ordered last week. Geez! But in my defense I have a bad habit of leaving the hook with the WIP's project and start another project that may call for the same size hook. I know, I know some of you think that's crazy to have near 100 hooks, but you haven't seen my yarn room. My hubby has said if the hobby stores run low of yarn I could become a supplier. So glad he is okay with my hobby. Keep on creating!

You have a nice variety there. I'm so glad you treasure your grandma's hooks. I inherited my grandma's hooks (most are stamped 1 and 3 cents) and they are precious to me.

Hi Rebekah. What a fun video! You can never have too many hooks! I have 3 sets of Clover Amour, 1 set of Tulip Etimo, a set of acrylic ones, several sets of the Susan Bates, both the tiny steel ones and the regular ones. And a bunch of Boye hooks as well. This doesn’t include my Tunisian sets. And lastly I have a beautiful Knit Pro wooden hook that I won from you all those years ago when you had about 2k subscribers, which I treasure.❤️❤️. Then there are the really big ones that I have a couple in each large size. Let’s not even talk about knitting needles, lol.😂
Thanks for this fun video!

I have too many, but some I have had for over 40 years, and still work just fine. Only new hooks have purchased lately have been extended afghan hooks, with attachments for more stitches for afghans or blankets. Thanks for sharing.

I loved seeing and hearing about your many crochet hooks Rebekah that was very special, I too have a very old set of the fine lacework crochet metal hooks that were my grandmothers and I treasure them but never use them as with a lot of my hooks I like to look at them but use the same ones over and over lol 😊Amanda xx💖

I just recently started getting Furls and i love them. I have 48 hooks. My favorite hooks I ordered of Amazon and they are called Yarniss. They are amazing and comfort grip. Not too long or short and I can crochet for hours. I use to subscribe to Bella Coco crochet boxes and got some nice hooks there as well.

I believe you can never have too many hooks or yarn. I have 170 hooks. My favorite go to is my Lantern Moon. Love, love, love. Now, let's not count my scissors; since I cross stitch and embroider. 😁😁 Thanks for sharing

Thank you Rebecca for showing us your hooks etc. Those tiny hooks are very handy for adding beads to projects. Crochet hooks are addictive i have quite a few (I daren't count them) Several of the same size, I'm sure I will add to the collection . I enjoy my hooks and love to pick out which one I will use for the next " Blossom" project.💚

I don't have many hooks. I have 2 generic sets and 1 small Susan Bates set. And I have a 4.25 mm Boys hook a friend gave me when I first started crocheting. I also have a set of Stainless-steel hooks ranging from size 0.5 mm to 2.0 mm. I think your collection is awesome ❤❤
