"You know what they say about good times, right?"

"Yeah."
"Good times never last."

Leaving this world is not as scary as it sounds.

For some reason this song passes the energy of "Well life sure as hell suck, but carry on, someday it will get better, probably."

Richter deserved a better life, and we judge him in the first game without knowing his past and his motivations, one of them, keeping safe her mother...
God, this game is a hard punch in the guts, but still being the best game in the history!

Jacket wanted revenge.
Biker wanted fun first, but ended up with a traumatic memory written on his face.
Evan wanted to find the truth.
Pardo wanted to find the killer, not knowing he was the killer the whole time.
Richter wanted to protect his family.
Son wanted to be just like his father.
Richard wanted to keep them all safe.

This song really hammers the depressive mood into the setting of Richter’s home. All he wanted was to tend to his ill mother, but now he’s forced to lie to her face and accomplish the genocidal agenda of 50 Blessings. He really deserved better, every single character deserved better. I guess that’s the main idea of Hotline Miami. “Not everyone gets a happy ending, ” or “Our actions, no matter how small they seem, have consequences.”

However, I think his ending was the most peaceful. After all, he got to spend his last moments with her by his side, and was even comforted by the spirit of Richard.

The journey was arduous for him, but at least he made it through to the other side. Even if it was only for a short while.

I always put this song on when I'm going somewhere alone with my car. Be it shopping, picking someone up or just going home after a long and tiring day.

Makes you feel like calm and like you're the main character from the movie "Drive" :)

This really reminds me of that one quote
"Only the dead have seen the end of war."

This piece feels melancholic, but at the same time a bit nostalgic. It’s like I’m reminiscing about a memory that isn’t particularly pleasant or happy. Even so, I realize how much I have changed, how things will never be the same. I can’t go back, I can’t fix what I’ve done. But at the very least an unpleasant memory can make for a good lesson.

In my head cannon I like to imagine Richard saying "Someone got a 25 kill streak so they called a nuke on you" to Richter as the nuke drops.

That awkward moment when you just finished a massacre and start to reflect on your actions

I can't stop thinking about how if Pardo wasn't so caught up in stress he might've been able to prevent this. Considering the MPD was trying to get his help hours before the president was assassinated.

This music calms me down after school. And one time I'm going to go to Miami.
