Raspberry Pi Gaming: Retropie vs Batocera vs Recalbox vs Lakka

It's time for a Head 2 Head 2 Head 2 Head. In the ring we have:
RetroPie
RecalBox
Batocera and
Lakka
All will enter but only 1 will leave! I've made sure to add Chapters so you can find the tests for your Favourite cores.

I still use the Rasp3B+ for larger systems I have a dedicated HD.
Great video, I always prefer Batocera, it seems that on its hardware it kept the FPS better 59/60 constant compared to Recalbox.
I also like the fact that it has themes in the Launcher

Ok, I'm gonna have to properly watch this video at some point, but while I started with Retropie, I tried batocera at some point and it felt absolutely horrible to mess with compared to retropie. I don't want fully done images, I LIKE the barebones retropie image and to edit it to my needs. It could be better, but I seriously didn't see anything better when trying batocera, and it wasn't even on the pi, it was a pc version.

I’m running Batocera on my Raspberry Pi 5 and it can definitely run Dolphin. I would have switched immediately if it didn’t. Can you expand more on why yours couldn’t run Dolphin?

I find batocera to be a real pain to get working on Pi4, it just doesnt recognise basic things like controllers, hard drives way too often.. wasted days trying to resolve.

Just installed batocera so much easier to mate my bluetooth controllers too that it wasn't even funny !
