This guy should get in another car that sells new for $50-60K new to get a reality check. I’m curious what he’s driving. He mentions the S Class. That performance is nowhere near the performance of the Plaid. He needs to drive more cars and especially EVs before reviewing EVs on this channel.

The Plaid is the best car for sure by all means !! This car is defiantly not for you at all !! You can't afford this car that's why you put dirt on this car saying all these negative bs:(

I’ve been in many luxury cars and find the Model S to have the overall best drive out of ALL of them, the ride quality is incredible and the handling is equally impressive, I wouldn’t bother with the Plaid though, the Long Range is more than quick enough for me, Tesla build quality has improved a LOT over the years too, all the Model S needs now is a nicer interior to compete with BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Porsche, etc

I'm sick of hearing about EV depreciation when its obviously got a lot to do with a big drop in new prices. So a car that used to cost 130k is now 60k (or whatever used) has depreciated more than 50%, is not going to have the same depreciation for a new buyer whos paying 90.
A price drop of 33% (90k to 60k) for 3 years and 30000 miles sounds normal to me.

Another in a series of Tesler haters. Without a doubt one of the finest salon EVs on the road today. Apparently he doesn't like speed actually complaining about it, weird. "Too fast" " Too much" really? What an Awful review.

If I was shopping for one of these I would compare it to the current price of a new plaid so about 84000. 130k was just because they were new and the quickest production car in the world. Tesla markup instead of dealer markup! 😂

Terrible review buddy. Your opinion isn’t even founded in reality. Faster than most cars is faster than every other car on the planet. If you don’t like EV, maybe you shouldn’t review them.

The level of radiation from an electric car's battery is comparable to or even lower than that from many other household appliances like microwaves or cell phones, and numerous studies have indicated that this poses no significant health risk to drivers or passengers.

the comparison of $130k to $60k without mentioning the price cuts is dishonest. the depreciation curve of teslas and used ev's was massively impacted by price cuts + the point of sale credit last year. its not because "they are worse in every way" and no one wants to buy them - that reasoning doesn't match the thousands of dealers buying up hertz's inventory of used EV's. if they were really that bad, they wouldn't be buying them for resale.

Brand new Plaid’s start at $89, 990. More if you want different colors or the upgraded wheels, FSD, etc.

Don’t buy it new it can be a budget car where most of the cost is up front under the right circumstances. I got a 3 used for 25, 000 less than new, I save 300 a month in gas. Car pays for itself hands down IF you’re in a high fuel price area AND hold it 10+ years. No loan pay cash. Oddly enough Toyota Corolla from 2007 (amazing car) is the only car similar in savings but I spent 350 a month gas even with her. Older reliable cheap under $10, 000 barely exist or need a lot of work done. Battery replacement free on my Tesla for 7 more years and I’ll probably just replace the battery-cheaper as time goes along and it’s like a new car.

Let’s remember how mind blowing this car was in 2021.

The Plaid S is the Hellcat Charger of the EV world. Smashes in a straight line and kinda handles. But for $60k it’s an insane value.

I have a tesla s and they handle great - and as far as reliability they are top notch - never have to go in for maintenance- how can you beat that

Depreciation is good in a lot of ways, the cheaper tech like a Model S gets, the more people that can access it. Not a huge Tesla fan but I have to look at this depreciation talk and think it's not focused on making technology accessible to people.

“Compared to other cars, the suspension is really disappointing”. How about comparing it to other cars with 1000hp and see how the suspension stacks up?
