The Burbs is amazing. It's not for everyone but those who know it love it! And I am definitely one of them. Such a classic B movie. It is endlessly quotable and has mystery and comedy.
The type of fun summer hangout movie that they just don't make anymore. I also grew up in a Suburban Cul-de-sac so I totally relate to the setting and characters and all of the neighbors kind of knowing and watching each other and the one weird house on the block. Disappointed he didn't say the Burbs after reading all of these comments I thought he maybe mentioned that as his favorite.
