Premiere Low level exception in Player 11 when shuttling

Another major bug in Adobe Premiere.
I get this fatal error across all projects when shuttling, with CUDA enabled.
Adobe, please work harder to check for bugs before releasing your software.

According to live chat technician, it'll be fixed in early Dec update:
"By the first week of December, we will launch a new patches will be coming on which will fix the issue."

A weird thing is that I have this issue only on adobe cc 2020, but on adobe 2022 I didn't have it

It's 22 Aug 2021 and I recently started experiencing this error. Super frustrating, constant save > force close > reopen > rework and try again

I may have a solution for you that worked for me. Had the same problem for ages until I started to transcode my original footage to a more edit-friendly codec like Apple's ProRes or Avid's DNxHD before importing it into my project timeline. You're probably working with H.264 MP4 footage. H.264 is what is known as a high efficiency codec which is perfect for rendering and uploading to YouTube since it heavily compresses the footage data - but it's extremely heavy on your system. Your computer is struggling to process the footage just to display it on your program monitor. The minute you want to play the footage faster than it can it will freeze everything. However, If you transcode all the footage first to ProRes or DNxHD and THEN import your footage it will play like butter on your timeline and you can shuttle all you want without a hitch. Your computer will love you for it and you can even feel the difference when you scrub through the footage. The only thing to note is that your transcoded file size would be much larger so make sure you have lots of storage space. Hope this helps. Let me know if it does. Good luck!

Experiencing this exact problem in 2021. Froze up my computer so bad I had to force shut it down and had the pleasure of finding 3TB+ of files were deleted in an instant.

I am getting this but only on one project. same error Player 11 Im updating premiere pro now not sure what version I had. Maybe I should had checked before I wrote this.

Does your system meet or exceed minimum system requirements? They've been increased for v. 14. Fast forwarding Long GOP footage with an underpowered GPU or a GPU that needs new drivers is usually the culprit. Good luck.
