HTML5 and CSS3 Beginner Tutorial 30 - Tables, rowspan and colspan

You can use tables and all the tags that go with it as long as you are only using it to display table data as seen in the video.

Do not try use tables to layout your website though. That is not up to W3C standards and you should rather use div tags.

What if the total number of rows exceed 99 and that we have given td rowspan="2" ?? does that work only till 99 or does that go on till the end of table?

I thought you could not or should not use colspan and rowspan in HTML5. May be I'm confusing it with display:table when you use "div". Can you explan?
