I have a 7950X for video editing/rendering and software development, and a 7950X3D for gaming ... great job AMD and keep on improving! Competition is wonderful, helps keep CPU/GPU prices down.

Hi there! I have a recommendation/request regarding specifically the 7900X3D, yes the 7900 not the 7950.
I would like to see 2 additional models of the 7900X3D, specifically as follows:
- 12Core, 8Cores + VCahe plus 4 Cores (In cases where case on more cores is helpful and you also want additional overclocking headroom on the remaining 4 cores)
- 12 Cores, 4 Cores + VCache and 8 Cores
These would be a nice complement to the normal model with 6cores + VCache and 6 Cores. These should actually help with binning in some situations.

it might not be a big deal for most people with already modern cpus like the ryzen 5000 series, but this is a huge, colossal even, deal for me who has a pre-ryzen i7 4770, this cpu will last me a good decade and more perhaps

I think I’m starting to lose trust in Intel by seeing this, in the future I’ll probably buy AMD I feel that AMD is way better now ❤❤ btw I don’t hate Intel, I still like Intel but they used to make processors in the 90’s and the 2000’s way better but now they are falling behind AMD……

Honestly i don't find this processor that attractive. The reality of the 3D cache being only on one chiplet means special threading considerations have to be considered and relying on tools to intelligently enable/disable. I think i'd rather have the non 3D cache 7950X and never have to worry about the cache.
