Whew, I got worried that you might be stepping away from YouTube. I love the channel and am glad to hear you'll still be making videos. I personally prefer the academic discussions to pop culture stuff, but I expect that the changes will help the channel grow and reach a much wider audience, which is great and well-deserved. This is a right decision for sure. Thank you so much for your thorough academic philosophy videos so far! While they weren't very popular among general YT watchers, they were surely a big help for us philosophy enthusiasts, it made our understanding so much clearer than most videos that pop-philosophy YT creators make.

I hope you balance your videos portion of each format and don't fall into Youtube shorts hell hole.

There are MANY channels already doing this and one of the most important features of this channel was actually presenting different views and arguments on a specific topic through conversational debate. You do you, mates, but I'm not sure if this is a great addition.

Branching out is important there are only so much philosophy you can discuss although I might be wrong but maybe try going into aesthetics aswell that would be interesting especially if you add some sort of aesthetic philosophy into movies and shows you're covering on top of talking about the deeper meaning in them, hope you guys the best.

My brother and I only recently discovered how much we enjoy philosophy. Coming across your channel has already taught us so much more than we knew in days.

I'm sure the new content will teach more as well as attract more interest.

If you haven't watched attack on titan, would love for you to do so and make a video around all of its ideas.

And also, exploring philosophy related to and/or surrounding AI would both be interesting and potentially attract more interest to your channel.

That sounds interesting, it would increase viewership outside of when people need it for academic purposes. I personally rarely come back here unless I see a particularly interesting topic or for understanding a concept. I'm sure I'll be coming back to watch the new videos planned quite a bit more. 👍love your channel. It's the best philosophy channel on youtube. Every channel starts slowly and then they grow exponentially. You have the right stuff. Youtubr algorithms can't hide them for too long.
